Your initial appointment will be 60 minutes and will be used to evaluate your physical and mental health and get to know you. We will work collaboratively as we discuss your concerns and review treatment options. Afterwards, an appropriate schedule of follow-up visits will be determined.

Follow-up appointments will typically be 30 minutes, and will be used to review and potentially alter your existing medication plan, as well as go over any new issues or requests.

Medical Marijuana Certification

Jewel Barboza is licensed to certify NY State residents for a medical marijuana card. (MMJ). An eligible diagnosis letter is required from your external provider. Fee is payable at time of service via cash, credit card, or check. Visit The Grind on Youtube to learn more.

Genetic Testing

Genetic testing can serve many purposes. For example, the information obtained can help determine how your body may metabolize specific medication, aiding in the decision as to whether specific prescriptions would be a good fit or not. This service is available as a standalone procedure or as an addendum to a new or existing patient’s treatment plan, and only requires a few minutes to collect.
